Islamabad Temple and the response of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan
Islamabad Temple and the response of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan
Praise be to Allaah. We are the followers of the perfect religion which Allah Almighty has declared to be the most beloved religion. It protects the rights of every living thing. As well as being the best of creatures, following God's beloved religion is certainly a great blessing. In every age there are all kinds of people who adhere to their own arguments and logic. We should all respect the position of others.
But I personally dislike the recent protests by the administration against the construction of a temple for Pakistan's large minority "Hindus" because no Muslim's heart is small enough to influence the beliefs of minorities. His style is not weak enough to make a fuss over the construction of the temple.
I am also amazed that if the church in London is converted into a mosque, the number of mosques in Europe increases, the mayor of Canada comes to inaugurate the mosques then we are Muslims who chant the slogan "Long live Islam". ۔ Apply
But they are protesting so strongly against the construction of the temple in Pakistan even though the move is a message to the world that at a time when religious extremism is on the rise in India, Pakistan is defending its minorities and religious Giving freedom Also providing all facilities. It will be a diplomatic success. Our conversation begins with the fact that minorities in Pakistan are getting all the rights.
But in fact, the way they are treated in many areas today is deplorable. It is also worth noting that the treatment of minorities is exemplary in many areas.
When Pakistan came into being, the proportion of minorities in the Kingdom of Khudadad was 15% but today, instead of increasing dramatically, it has come down to less than 3% of which the number of Hindus is according to a conservative estimate. According to the report, there are around 80 to 90 lakhs, most of whom live in different districts of Sindh (Umerkot, Tharparkar and Mirpur Khas).
At the time of independence Pakistan had 428 temples and at present there are barely 20 temples including 11 in Sindh, four in Punjab, two in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and three in Balochistan. All other temple buildings are either dilapidated or are being used for other purposes. The biggest problem is the absence of crematoriums and community centers for religious festivals or other religious matters.
The main reason given for stopping the construction of the temple is that instead of building a new temple, the old temples should be repaired and rebuilt. Arrangements have been made which will be collected today. Undoubtedly, there is a Syedpura temple in Islamabad which is already closed and there are 13 inactive temples in Rawalpindi.
If all the facilities were provided to the people whose condition is very bad then there would be no need for a new temple today.
I believe that in order to understand the decisions made at the national level, it is necessary to broaden the mental level and expand the scope so that every aspect of this decision can be seen. And its fruits can be examined. As far as the provision of funds is concerned, let the people also show the generosity shown in the funds of Kartarpur Corridor.
Because according to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the government does not care what your religion is. All citizens of Pakistan are its residents. Minorities are also the taxpayers of this country. The taxes they pay do a great job for Muslims. There will be no danger.
It is also important to keep in mind that if we are against the construction of a temple in the Pakistani capital and are in favor of its demolition, then neither the construction of mosques in the Indian capital Delhi is tolerated nor (God willing). ۔ He is entitled to protest his testimony.
The Constitution of Pakistan gives this right to minorities. I mean "Islamic" (Republic of) Pakistan. When it comes to granting rights, it is thrown in the trash.
This attitude of Muslim debate does not suit us. We must respect all religions by following the teachings of the Quran. The most important thing is that instead of plunging Pakistan into chaos and extremism like other countries, Pakistan should be made the cradle of peace.
